6 years ago, Natalie Laivaux and Belinda Hayes who between them have a brood of 5 active children, and washing lines continuously draped with soaking wet towels put their heads together and came up with the perfect product for families who enjoy outdoor and active lifestyles.
Tired of lugging heavy towels to the beach and unpacking smelly wet towels from their children’s school bags that needed to be miraculously dried for the next day, these two local ladies were determined to find a solution that would work for all moms. They searched high and wide for the perfect fabrication that would deliver on their key requirements:

On top of all that they needed a fabrication that would enable them to be creative with their designs, allowing them to launch multiple fun prints in all shapes and sizes as often as they wished. And so it was, on 22 April 2017, Bobums was launched.
Today, Bobums has evolved into a brand that ticks all the boxes of what they envisioned their business to be when they first started out in a small garage. They now employ over 10 staff. Bobums is also proudly local, offers the option of personalisation and has expanded to produce numerous school towels, sports team towels, club towels and corporate branded towels. The best part is that all of their products are now made out of 100% repurposed plastics, so they can be eco-friendly as well as family friendly.
